Former Bear Zoe Gibbs Begins Professional Volleyball Career in Kosovo

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Volleyball is proud to highlight former middle blocker Zoe Gibbs, who has officially begun her professional volleyball career with KV Drita in Gjilan, Kosovo.
KV Drita competes in the Volleyball Super league of Kosovo (Superliga e Kosovës), as well as the Gjergj Kastrioti–Skënderbeu League, a competitive regional league featuring top teams from both Kosovo and Albania. Gibbs signing marks an exciting new chapter as she continues her volleyball journey at the international level.
"I am beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue to play volleyball with KV Drita," Gibbs said. "I cannot wait to meet the team and experience life in Kosovo."
During her time at Northern Colorado, Gibbs made a lasting impact on the Bears program. Over the course of her career, she appeared in 56 matches and 170 sets, recording 319 kills, 40 digs, and an impressive 114 total blocks. Her presence at the net and consistency on the court played a key role in the Bears success throughout her tenure.
"We are so proud of Zoe! She has definitely put in the work to call herself a professional. What a unique opportunity she has earned to be playing for such a high-level team" stated Head Coach Lyndsey Oates.
Northern Colorado Volleyball congratulates Zoe on her debut and wishes her continued success as she represents the Bears on the international stage.
