Played in all 31 matches of her freshman year, becoming the team's fifth-most used attacking option by racking up 128 kills while hitting .099...Was sixth on the team with 42 blocks (37 BA, 5 solo)...Averaged 1.15 kills per set...Set season highs in kills (10) and total blocks (5) Nov. 1 at Weber State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered all four years while playing for head coach Katie Dowden and Raymore-Peculiar ... Earned Suburban Big 6 All-Conference First Team awards in both her junior and senior seasons ... Also earned First Team All-District and All-Region nods in her sophomore, junior and senior campaigns ... A stellar high school career that saw her finish with 1,429 kills for an average of 6.9 per match culminated with absolutely dominant senior campaign ... During her final year at Raymore-Peculiar, Lyons earned membership onto the Missouri All-State First Team and earned the Evelyn Gates Award given each year to the top player in the Kansas City area ... Lyons beat out players committed to Ohio State, Kansas and Duke for the Evelyn Gates Award.
