Clayton Sikorski was named the Director of Golf in August of 2021. Sikorski oversees both the men's and women's programs for the Bears. He came to UNC after a pair of successful stints as a Director of Golf and spending the last two years at Grand Canyon University as an assistant for the men's golf team.
In the 2022-23 season, Sikorski Led Men’s team to 2023 Big Sky Championship. Named 2023 Big Sky Coach of the year on men’s side. Coached the BS player of the year and had three other all conference members. On women’s side we recorded the second lowest team stroke average in the programs history at 301.57. Individually we had the lowest ever Marija Jucmane at 74.43 which also earned her 2nd team Big Sky. Timbre Shehee also recorded the 4th lowest individual stroke average in program history as a freshman at 75.30.
In the 2021-22 season, Sikorski help lead Men's Golf to a second place finish in the Big Sky Championships, missing the winning spot by a single stroke. This season two men's golfers were named Big Sky Player of the Week five different times, Jack Castiglia three times and TJ Shehee twice. Sikorski also helped both Castiglia and Shehee to earn individual wins. In addition, both Castiglia and Shehee, along with teammate Marcus Tait received All-Big Sky Honors. The women's golf team also had success under Sikorski's direction placing in the top 6 of the Big Sky Tournament.
During Sikorski's time at GCU, the Lopes had two medalist winners, five top-5 team finishes, two All-WAC award winners and a pair of runner-up finishes at the WAC Championships.
Sikorski has earned numerous coaching awards, including the GSAC Coach of the Year, a Dave Williams NAIA National Coach of the Year finalist and NAIA GCAA Western Region Coach of the Year.

He started the men's and women's golf programs at Ottawa University, located in Surprise, Ariz, in 2017.

His Ottawa teams won four events and finished outside the top-5 just once in 11 tournaments in 2018-19. Sikorski coached the NCCAA National Christian College champion and an NAIA All-American Second-Team player at Ottawa. Additionally, OUAZ was ranked as high as No. 5 in the NAIA and won the GSAC Conference Championship by 35 strokes.

Before his time in Arizona, Sikorski was the head men's and women's coach at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. While at OKWU, the men's team reached No. 14 in the NAIA Coaches Top-25 Poll.

Sikorski graduated from OKWU in 2014 and earned a Master of Business Administration degree in 2016. He played on the golf team for four years and earned MCAC All-Conference honors twice.

Sikorski along with his wife Brittany and son Hudson will make their way to Greeley.
