2013-14:
Indoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the long jump (placed third), 60 meters (placed sixth) and 200 meters (eighth)...During the season, set school record in 60 meters (7.52 seconds), 200 meters (24.60 seconds) and long jump 5.93 meters, and set second-fastest time in 55 meters (7.04 seconds).
Outdoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Championships in the 100 meters (placed first), long jump (placed third) and was a member of 4x100 relay team that placed fifth and set the school record at 45.99 seconds...Set school's second-fastest time in the 100 meters (11.54 seconds) at Big Sky Championships.
2012-2013:Â
Outdoor: Qualified for Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships in 100m, 200m and long jump...Qualified for NCAA Division I West Regional in the long jump May 23, where she posted a score of 6.18m, also a school record...Ran UNC's second-best time in the 100m (11.67 seconds) April 26 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins...Also recorded UNC's second-best 200m time (24.56 seconds) April 20 at the Beach Invitational in Norwalk, Calif.
Indoor: Set the third-fastest times in UNC history in the 55m (7.13 seconds) and 60m (7.70 seconds) Feb. 22 at the Big Sky Conference Indoor Championships in Bozeman, Mont., and Feb. 9 at the Air Force Team Challenge, respectively.
2011-12:
Indoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Conference Championship and finished 11th in the 60 meters, 12th in the long jump and 14th in the 200 meters... Ran a 7.71 in the 60 meters at the Big Sky Championship to post the third-fastest time in school history... Also ran a 7.16 in the 55 meters at the Wyoming Power Meet to tie for third-best at Northern Colorado... Broke the school record in the 200 meters, timing a 24.94 at the Air Force Invitational... In her first-ever collegiate meet, had the fourth-best long jump in school history, leaping 18-6.75 at the Wyoming Power Meet.
Outdoor: Qualified for the Big Sky Conference Championship in the 100 and 200 meters and the long jump and ran on the 4x100 meter relay that placed fifth... Also placed fifth in the long jump -- the top freshman in the conference -- with a personal best leap of 18-6.5, which ties for seventh-best in school history... Timed a personal-best 12.21 in the 100 meters at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (Apr. 27) for the fourth-fastest ever at UNC and her 25.02 from the same meet ranks seventh on the school's descending order list.
High School: Graduated from Lyons High School in 2011... Was a standout student-athlete earning 11 varsity letters (four in Track & Field, three in Volleyball, and four in Basketball)... Named to the All-State team in track & field all four years, while also being named to the All-State team in volleyball as a senior... Also named All-Conference all four years in both track & field and basketball, as well as volleyball once... Advanced to the Colorado State Championships in the 100 and 200 meters all four years and twice in the long jump... Won the state 100 meter title as both a sophomore and senior and was runner-up as a freshman and junior... Also won the state championship in the 200 meters her final two years and was state champion in the long jump as a senior... Was also a member of the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays at state, winning the 4x100 title in her junior year and the 4x400 relay as a freshman and sophomore... Broke the 2A 100 and 200 meter records her senior year... Named the Longmont Times Call track & field Athlete of the Year in both 2009 and 2011 and was named to the Academic All-State track & field, volleyball and basketball teams her senior year... Holds seven school records and helped Lyons win the 2008 and 2011 state track championships... Named to the honor roll three straight years and was a two-time Academic letterwinner.
Personal:Â Born January 5Â in Los Alamos, N.M., to Paul and Roben Hinker... Has two older sisters, Grace and Marcie, and one younger brother, James.
