2013-14
Indoor: Tied the second-best mark in school history, which he owns, with a season-best leap of 2.15 meters (7-02.25 feet) Feb. 1 at the Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho.
Outdoor: Best height of the season came April 25 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins when he cleared 2.06 meters and placed third in the event...Placed seventh at the Big Sky Championships by reaching 2.00 meters.
2012-13
Indoor: Recorded the second-best mark in school history at 2.15 meters and placed first at the Big Sky Championships.
Outdoor: Reached 2.16 meters at the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas, which is the second-best outdoor mark in school history...Placed first at Big Sky Championships with a mark of 2.12 meters...Tied for 21st in the nation at NCAA Division I National Championships June 5 in Eugune, Ore., by clearing 2.05 meters
2011-12
Indoor:Â Placed ninth at the Big Sky Conference Championship in the high jump as a true freshman, clearing 6-6.75... Had a personal best high jump of 6-8.75 at the Air Force Team Challenge (Jan. 28).
Outdoor: At the Big Sky Conference Championship, he tied for sixth place, one of four to clear 6-4.75... Cleared a personal best height of 6-7 at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (Apr. 27).
High School:Â Was an all-conference and all-state selection in his senior campaign on the gridiron at Golden... In basketball, was named to three all-conference teams and one all-state team and in track & field, earned all-conference honors three times as well as two all-state selections as a jumper... In his final year, had 25 receptions for 750 yards and 13 touchdowns... Averaged 20.6 points per game in his final basketball season.
Personal:Â Is the oldest of two children of Rick and Karin Evanson... Hopes to major in business at Northern Colorado... Born March 18 in Golden.
