2012: In her debut season with the Bears, Fa’asua made an appearance in 25 games … Recorded a batting average of .293 with a .397 slugging percentage … She notched her first homerun in a Bear uniform against Tennessee-Martin … Finished the season with 17 hits, including one homerun and one double.
HIGH SCHOOL: Faasua lettered in all four years at Oceanside while playing softball for the Pirates … She is also a one-year letter winner in basketball, where she played center … During her junior year, she batted .365 with 18 RBI and six home runs ... Was named to the honor roll her last three years of high school ... Played club softball for the San Diego Breakers.
