2014-15: In his final year with UNC Loughnan went 2-8 in singles and 6-9 in doubles play...He and Cassell King made up the Bears No. 2 most of the year going 5-9...in fall play Loughnan won the C draw at the Metro Invite and the E draw at the Omaha Collegiate Invtational...In doubles play he went 1-3 in the fall.
2013-14: Tied for team lead in overall doubles wins during fall and spring play … Finished with 12-6 doubles record, 11-4 in the spring with partner Jeff Carlson (7-2 in conference) and 1-2 in the fall with two others … Went 8-10 overall in singles matches, including a 5-5 record during the spring season … Fell just short of the single F bracket title at the Creighton Invitational, finishing second.
2012-13: Started his sophomore campaign 4-4 in fall singles followed by 6-11 overall in the spring … Played with five different doubles partners throughout the year … Loughnan and Ben Gendron finished 2-2 while he and Michael Moya finished 1-2 in fall doubles … Loughnan competed with Moya (0-1 No. 2, 2-0 No. 3), Mitchel Knight (2-1 No. 2), Eric Schuermans (1-2 No. 2) and Jeff Carlson (1-1 No. 2, 0-4 No. 3) in spring doubles.
2011-12: As a freshman, posted a 2-10 record in singles and was 7-9 in doubles... Played the entire spring at No. 6, going 1-8 with an 0-5 mark in Big Sky Conference play... Went 3-0 during the fall with Ben Gendron, while he and Ryan Lane were 4-7 at No. 2 doubles throughout the spring with a 2-5 conference record... Also went 0-2 with Jeff Carlson, playing one match each at No. 2 and No. 3.
Personal: Majoring in Spots and Exercise Science with a concentration in PE K-12 teaching.
