High School:Â A versatile and driven middle-distance runner from Mountain Range High School in Westminster, Colorado, Tad Rabenhorst made his mark by breaking the school record in the 800m with a time of 1:58.21 during his junior season. He earned multiple varsity letters across track, cross country, and soccer. In addition to his athletic success, he was a standout in the classroom through concurrent enrollment at Front Range Community College, graduating with academic honors.
Personal:Â Son of Mandy Rabenhorst Bell and Greg Rabenhorst, both alumni of South Dakota State University, Tad has two younger siblings, Link and Emmett. He chose UNC for its balance of strong academic and athletic opportunities and its ideal location near home. A Business and Education major, Tad aspires to earn a degree in his chosen field. Outside of running, he enjoys playing the piano and saxophone, spending time with family, and staying active.
