- Ended up redshirting

- Saw playing time on the defensive line as a true freshman playing in all 10 games.
- Recorded eight tackles including a sack against Southern Utah.Â

- Was a 1st team all-district in 2016-17 and 2nd team all-district in 2015-16
- Team captain for the Lewisville Fighting Farmers in 2016-17
- Also was a 2nd team all-state academic.
- Chose UNC over Abilene Christian University and Lamar University.
