Drew 15 walks to go along with four hit-by-pitch for an on-base percentage of .301. Registered 81 putouts with 13 assists and six errors for a fielding percentage of .940.

2023 Season (Junior at UNC Asheville)
Castonguay played in and started 42 games in his first season with the Bulldogs in 2023...Splitting his time between catcher and designated hitter, Castonguay hit .257 with two home runs and 25 RBI...Posted nine multi-hit outings on the season...Had a five-game hitting streak in mid-March...Launched home runs vs. Longwood and High Point...Collected a season-high four hits and drove in three runs in Asheville's win over Radford in mid-May.
Prior to UNC Asheville - Spent the previous two seasons as a member of the Kansas University baseball team...Collected five hits during his time as a Jayhawk, including three for extra-bases...Was a 2021 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team selection.
