Aiden Tank joins UNC Athletics as the Director of Strategic Communications with experience in athletic communications, media relations, and game-day operations at both the collegiate and professional levels.
Prior to UNC, Tank served as an Athletic Communications Assistant at the University of Colorado, where he was the primary contact for women's tennis and supported football and men's basketball.
At Colorado, Tank managed game notes and credentialing operations during the Deion "Coach Prime" Sander's era, while supporting nationally prominent football coverage and high-volume media operations at Folsom Field. Tank led communications for women's tennis, overseeing content, media relations, and student staff while helping produce the program's first-ever live-streamed home match.
His experience includes game day PR work with the Denver Broncos, along with prior roles at the Air Force Academy and Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
