PREVIEW: Bears Open 2026-27 Season at Home, Host Bear Brawl

GREELEY, Colo. - Northern Colorado women's golf is set to open the 2026-27 season at home, hosting the 2026 Bear Brawl Monday, Sept. 7 through Tuesday, Sept. 8 at Greeley Country Club.
The two-day tournament will feature a six-team field, with the Bears welcoming St. Thomas, Montana, CSU Bakersfield, Southern Illinois and UTRGV to Greeley for the season-opening competition. The Bear Brawl marks the first tournament of the 2026-27 campaign for Northern Colorado.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Bears enter the season looking to build on a strong 2025-26 campaign that saw Northern Colorado finish runner-up at the Big Sky Championship. UNC was also picked to finish third in the 2026-27 Big Sky Women's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll. Northern Colorado returns a pair of All-Conference performers in Samantha Colombine and Jaci Hartman. Colombine enters the season as the program's all-time lowest 18-hole round, while Hartman also earned All-Conference recognition following a strong 2025-26 season. begin the new season against a competitive field at Greeley Country Club.
