Competing in a deep field, Stewart finished sixth in her heat, continuing a strong freshman campaign on the national stage.
In the women's 1500 meters, Mpigachai posted a season-best time of 4:18.08. The senior finished seventh in her heat, capping off another consistent performance against some of the top distance runners in the West Region.
On the track in the 100-meter hurdles, junior Alexia Austin recorded a time of 13.49 seconds, finishing fifth in her heat in a highly competitive sprint field at the national meet.
