Northern Colorado Softball Lands Six on All-Big Sky Honors List

FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado softball turned in an impressive conference showing, with six student-athletes earning all-conference honors from the Big Sky Conference, the league announced Thursday.
Leading the way for the Bears, second baseman Katie Walling and Non-pitcher/Utility player Ella Gonzales were named First Team All-Big Sky, recognizing their outstanding performances throughout the season and their impact as some of the conference's top players at their respective positions.
First baseman Amailee Morales and Outfielder KK Christie both earned Second Team All-Big Sky highlighting the depth and consistency of the program. Their contributions played a key role in the Bears success during the 2026 campaign, rewriting the record book and helping the Bears finish as the two seed heading into the Big Sky tournament.
Rounding out the honors, Krista Francia and Hayden Nelson earned All-Big Sky Honorable Mention recognition, further underscoring the team's balanced production and depth.
The six selections reflect Northern Colorado's continued progress within the conference and the program's ability to develop high-level talent.
