GAME TWO: ST. THOMAS 11, NORTHERN COLORADO 3
Northern Colorado broke through in the fourth inning when Ethan Mooser launched a solo home run to get the Bears on the board. UNC added two more runs between the fourth and fifth innings, highlighted by a two-run shot from Brandon Sanchez, but that would be all the offense the Bears could generate.
On the mound, Ethan Louthan was tagged with the loss after allowing three runs without recording an out. Mason Bright provided some stability out of the bullpen, tossing 2.2 innings and allowing just two runs (none earned), while Jax Pfister worked 4.1 innings with four strikeouts. Kaveh Meredith closed the game with a scoreless inning.
Offensively, Wilson Kieffer paced the Bears with a pair of hits, while Mooser and Sanchez each drove in runs with their home runs. Mason Griffin also reached base twice for UNC.
GAME THREE: ST. THOMAS 5, NORTHERN COLORADO 6
In game three of the series, Northern Colorado baseball outlasted St. Thomas in a back-and-forth battle on Sunday afternoon, earning a 6-5 win in 10 innings at Koch Diamond.

With the game tied late, Ethan Sanchez delivered in a big moment, launching a go-ahead home run in the ninth inning to give the Bears a 5-4 advantage. St. Thomas responded with a run in the bottom half to even the score and force extra innings.
Northern Colorado answered again in the 10th, pushing across the eventual game-winning run before shutting the door defensively.Sanchez led the offense, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI's, highlighted by his clutch ninth-inning home run. Brandon Sanchez added two hits, while Mason Griffin scored twice and doubled. Ethan Mooser also contributed with a pair of RBI's.
On the mound, Northern Colorado used a bullpen-by-committee approach to secure the win. Brady Hudson earned the victory after tossing 1.1 innings, allowing one run while striking out one. Jake Storey shut the door in the 10th to record his first save of the season.
Lucas Stone got the start, allowing three runs (two earned) over four innings with three strikeouts. Mitch Haythorn and Logan Borboa combined for three scoreless innings in relief to keep the Bears within striking distance.
