COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Northern Colorado baseball dropped its midweek contest at Air Force on Tuesday afternoon at Erdle Field.

Air Force plated five runs in the opening inning and adding four more in the second to build an early nine-run advantage.

The Bears got on the board in the third inning with a solo home run from Logan Pruski, but Air Force continued to answer offensively, scoring in five of the first six innings to extend its lead.

Northern Colorado showed resilience in the middle innings, highlighting a three-run fourth inning. Ethan Mooser delivered a two-RBI single, while Wilson Kieffer added an RBI on a fielder's choice to cut into the deficit. The Bears added two more runs in the sixth, as Jaden Stone drove in a pair with a double to right center.

At the plate, Stone and Brandon Sanchez each recorded multi-hit performances to lead Northern Colorado's nine-hit effort, while Mooser and Stone each drove in two runs. Pruski's home run marked his second of the season.

ON DECK: Northern Colorado will look to bounce back as it returns to conference play this weekend heading to Tulsa, Oklahoma to take on Oral Roberts for a three-game series.
