Hartman Finishes Top 10 as Bears Take Seventh in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Northern Colorado women's golf wrapped up play Tuesday at the San Diego State Classic at The Heights Golf Club, finishing seventh out of 12 teams in a competitive field that featured several strong West Coast programs.
The Bears showed improvement over the course of the three-round tournament, posting steady scores throughout the lineup and earning multiple top-20 individual finishes. The consistent play across all rounds reflected the team's continued growth as the spring season progresses.
Jaci Hartman paced Northern Colorado with an even-par performance for the tournament, earning a tie for ninth place to secure a top-10 finish and lead the Bears on the leader board. Close behind, Timbre Shehee turned in an impressive three-round showing, finishing tied for 11th at one-over par.
Samantha Colombine added another strong result for UNC, delivering a consistent effort across all three rounds to finish tied for 17th at three-over par. Olivia Salonek concluded the tournament tied for 50th at +15, while Carolina Fallotico rounded out the Bears lineup with a tie for 58th at +21.
Northern Colorado's seventh-place finish capped a solid week of competition against a deep and talented field. With steady performances and upward momentum, the Bears now turn their focus toward the remainder of the spring schedule looking to continue building on this performance.
