ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Northern Colorado completed a Saturday doubleheader at Lobo Baseball Field but came up short in both against New Mexico, falling 6–0 in the opener and 6–5 in the nightcap.
GAME ONE – NEW MEXICO 6, NORTHERN COLORADO 0
Northern Colorado was held to three hits in a 6–0 loss to open the doubleheader Saturday afternoon.
Jake Bullard led the Bears offensively, going 1-for-3 with a double for Northern Colorado's only extra-base hit of the game. Jaden Stone and Logan Pruski each added singles as the Bears managed three total hits and left six runners on base. Northern Colorado had limited opportunities with runners in scoring position, finishing 0-for-1 in those situations.

Gus Allred provided a strong effort out of the bullpen, throwing 4.1 innings while striking out eight and allowing just two runs. Cade Kunz closed the game with 0.2 scoreless innings and two strikeouts.
