ALBURQURQUE, N.M.- Northern Colorado baseball fell in a tightly contested, extra-inning battle on Sunday, dropping a 12–11 decision in 10 innings to New Mexico in game four of the series.

Northern Colorado totaled 11 runs on 14 hits and stayed within striking distance throughout the afternoon before New Mexico pushed across the walk-off run in the bottom of the 10th inning.

The Bear's offense was led by Brett Barber, who went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI's, including a sacrifice fly and a key extra-base hit. Jaden Stone delivered a productive day in the middle of the order, finishing 2-for-3 with two RBI's and drawing two walks while crossing the plate multiple times.

Logan Pruski added a 2-for-6 performance with two RBI's and two stolen bases to keep constant pressure on the Lobos defense. Ethan Mooser provided one of the biggest offensive contributions of the day, going 2-for-6 with a double and a team-high three RBI's.

Northern Colorado answered several New Mexico scoring bursts with timely hitting, collecting eight hits with runners in scoring position and driving in multiple runs with two outs.

On the mound, Northern Colorado relied on a committee approach, using multiple pitchers to navigate the high-scoring contest. New Mexico ultimately capitalized in the bottom of the 10th to secure the 12–11win.

Despite the setback, the Bears showed resilience throughout the lineup and received contributions up and down the order in one of their most productive offensive performances of the season.
