GREELEY, Colo. – The Northern Colorado women's soccer team will open Big Sky Conference play at home on Thursday, Sept. 25, as they host the reigning 2024 Big Sky Tournament champions, Sacramento State. After battling through a tough non-conference slate, the Bears are ready to turn the page and gain momentum heading into the core of the 2025 season.
UNC closed out non-conference action with a 1-6-4 record, but with league play starting this week, the Bears will look to start off strong in conference play, make a deep run in the Big Sky Championship Tournament, and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament in November.
Following Thursday's home opener, the Bears will hit the road for their first conference match up away from Greeley as they travel to Missoula to face Montana on Sunday, Sept. 28.
After a hard-fought draw against Kansas City to wrap up non-conference play, the Bears are refocused and ready to make a statement as Big Sky competition begins.
Fans can follow the action through live stats and streaming on ESPN+ with updates provided throughout the match on the team's official social media channels.
Kickoff is set for 7 P.M MT on Thursday and noon MT on Sunday.
