GREELEY, Colo. — The Northern Colorado women's soccer team is set to hit the road this Thursday, September 4, for a much-anticipated in-state showdown against Colorado State in Fort Collins. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
This in-state rivalry adds extra energy to the match up, as both teams aim to establish their dominance within the Northern Colorado region. In their last meeting in 2024, the Bears hosted the Rams at Jackson Stadium but fell 3-0 despite a determined effort.
Northern Colorado will be looking to bounce back and secure a win to gain momentum in their non-conference schedule. After Thursday's contest, the Bears return home to face Colorado College. In last year's match up, the Tigers came away with a 2-0 victory on their home turf.
Back Home on Sunday vs. Colorado College
Following Thursday's contest, the Bears will return to Jackson Stadium on Sunday, September 7, to host Colorado College. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m., and the match will feature a Youth day theme, welcoming young fans and families for a fun-filled game day experience.
