UNC Football to Be Represented by Ed Lamb, Jack Ziebell and Cam Chapa at Big Sky Kick Off

GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado football program will be represented by head coach Ed Lamb, offensive lineman Jack Ziebell and defensive back Cam Chapa at the 2025 Big Sky Football Kickoff Weekend, the conference announced Thursday.
Held at the Northern Quest Resort & Casino in Spokane, Washington, the Big Sky Football Kickoff runs from Saturday, July 19 through Monday, July 21, with a full schedule of events to officially launch the 2025 football season.
Lamb, entering his third season at the helm of the Bears, will be joined by Ziebell and Chapa—two key returners expected to play major roles on both sides of the ball. The trio will represent Northern Colorado in a variety of media sessions and interview opportunities throughout the weekend.
The event culminates on Monday, July 21, with more than four hours of live coverage on ESPN+ and Scripps Sports, starting at 9:00 a.m. PT. The broadcast will be co-hosted by the Big Sky's Meghan Robinson and Scripps Sports' Kyle Hansen, and will include interviews with head coaches and student-athletes from all 12 Big Sky programs, as well as Commissioner Tom Wistrcill and special guests. Specific interview times will be announced at a later date.
The 2025 season marks another step in Northern Colorado's continued growth under Coach Lamb, as the Bears look to make their mark in one of the top FCS football conferences in the country.
