Former SEC and AAC Golfer Brings Nationally Ranked Talent to Greeley
GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado men's golf program has added a key piece to its 2025-26 roster with the signing of Kaelen Dulany, head coach Clayton Sikorski announced Tuesday. Dulany joins the Bears after competing at both Arkansas and UTSA and will arrive in Greeley with three years of eligibility remaining.
"We're excited to welcome Kaelen Dulany to the University of Northern Colorado," Sikorski said. "Kaelen brings proven ability and high-level experience to our program. With a national ranking of 494 and an adjusted stroke average of 72.3, he's competed at the highest level and knows what it takes to perform under pressure. His game will make an immediate impact on our lineup and elevate our competitiveness this season. With Kaelen's addition, we're proud to finalize our roster for the 2025-26 campaign."
As a sophomore in 2024-25, Dulany played in eight tournaments for UTSA and posted a 73.68 scoring average across 22 rounds. He recorded nine par-or-better rounds and made national headlines with a 7-under 65 during the Desert Intercollegiate that included eight consecutive birdies. He finished that tournament tied for 11th at 7-under 209, his best result of the year. Dulany also turned in top-25 finishes at The Clerico and the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational.
Before UTSA, Dulany spent time at Arkansas, redshirting his freshman year and earning a spot on the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll. A decorated junior golfer, he was named the top high school player in Texas by Golfweek/USA TODAY Sports in 2021 and was a two-time first-team Texas Association of Golf Coaches All-State selection. He captured the 2021 Class 6A State Championship and qualified for both the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Junior Amateur that same year.
Dulany brings a wealth of national tournament experience, with high finishes at events such as the Bob Estes Junior Championship, the Gateway First Bank of Tulsa Junior, and the Jones Cup Junior Invitational.
With a deep resume and top-tier competitive background, Dulany is expected to be an immediate contributor to a UNC team looking to build on recent momentum and make a push in the Big Sky Conference and beyond.
