Three Bears Qualify for NCAA Outdoor Track & Field First Round

GREELEY, Colo. – The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has officially announced the participants for the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships First Round competitions.
Northern Colorado will be represented by three student-athletes at the West First Round, hosted by Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, from May 28–31:
Jerome Campbell – Men's 100m (No. 17 NCAA DI West, 10.16), Men's 110m Hurdles (No. 11 NCAA DI West, 13.43)
Zander Cruzan – Men's 400m (No. 40 NCAA DI West, 45.97)
Kiana Van Haaren – Women's Long Jump (No. 21 NCAA DI West, 6.33m – 20' 9.25")
These Bears earned their spots among the best in the West Region and will compete for a chance to advance to the NCAA Championships final site, held June 11–14 in Eugene, Oregon.
