Vahvaselka Named Honorable Mention All-Summit League

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Northern Colorado senior Antti Vahvaselka has been named Honorable Mention All-Summit League, the conference announced Friday.
The recognition marks the first Summit League honor of Vahvaselka's UNC career, earned after a strong senior season marked by consistency and high-level performances.
The Helsinki, Finland native turned in impressive results across eight events this season, highlighted by a tie for 10th at the Vaqueros Intercollegiate (71-73-74, +2). He also fired a season-low round of 67 during the GCU Invitational, where he tied for 24th at 3-over-par.
Vahvaselka added three more top-25 finishes—including at the Loyola Intercollegiate (-2) and Grier Jones Shocker Invite (+3)—and notched six top-55 finishes overall on the year.
"Antti Vahvaselka has been a cornerstone of our program since the day he arrived," head coach Clayton Sikorski said. "Earning All-Conference Honorable Mention in the Summit League this year is a testament to his consistency, resilience, and competitive spirit. To be recognized in his senior year speaks volumes about his dedication and the impact he's had on our team. We're incredibly proud of him."
