Northern Colorado Track & Field Heads to Texas Invite

Campbell enters as a top-three seed in the 110m hurdles; Castillo looks to build on strong showing in the 400m dash.
GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado track & field will send two sprinters to Austin, Texas, to compete in the prestigious Texas Invite on Friday, April 25.

Jerome Campbell is set to compete in the 110-meter hurdles, facing off against athletes from Texas, Houston, Texas Tech, UTSA, Texas Southern, and Incarnate Word. Campbell enters the event as the No. 3 seed after capturing the title at the Oregon Open last weekend with a time of 13.54. That performance currently ranks the junior 15th in the NCAA.
Donovan Castillo will race in the 400-meter dash, going up against competitors from Texas Tech, Texas, Arizona State, Houston, and UTSA. The senior placed fourth at the Oregon Open with a time of 47.40.
