Bears Play Third Consecutive Tournament in Arizona
MARICOPA, Ariz. – Northern Colorado returns to Arizona Wednesday and Thursday for the Cowgirl Classic – hosted by Wyoming – at the AK-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club (par 72/6,191 yards).
The Bears lineup includes Timbre Shehee, Samantha Colombine, Jaci Hartman, Carolina Fallotico, and Shae Maiorana, while Kailey Bass competes as an individual for the two-day, 54-hole tournament. The four best scores count towards the team total each round.
The 15-team field includes Cal Baptist, Eastern Washington, Grand Canyon, Iowa State, Montana, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Idaho, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, UNLV, UTEP and Wyoming
The action begins with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., both mornings. Round two follows the conclusion of the opening circuit Wednesday.
