Campbell Shatters Big Sky & UNC Record, Advances to NCAA 60m Hurdles Final

Northern Colorado sprinter clocks 7.54 in the prelims, securing his spot in the championship race
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Northern Colorado's Jerome Campbell delivered a record-breaking performance at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, setting a new Northern Colorado and Big Sky Conference mark in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.54.
Campbell, who previously held the record at 7.55, won his heat to automatically qualify for the finals, finishing second overall in the prelims. Shaving off one-hundredth of a second, he once again etched his name in the record books.
With his sights set on a national title, Campbell will take the track for the 60m hurdles final tomorrow at 4:40 p.m. MT.
