The Bears Wrap Up Their Regular Season Road Schedule
GREELEY, Colo. – The No. 18 Northern Colorado Bears (9-5, 2-3) will hit the road to finish out its regular season road schedule. The Bears are at No. 27 Utah Valley (7-8, 3-5) on Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. in Orem, Utah. Two days later, Northern Colorado visits No. 39 Wyoming (10-6, 4-3) on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. in Laramie, Wyo.
The Bears enter the matchup having gone 1-1 in their last two duals against Big 12 opponents. The Bears defeated No. 13 Arizona State 21-17. One week later, Northern Colorado fell to No. 22 South Dakota State 10-30. Northern Colorado has now remained out of the dual rankings for the third consecutive week but has stayed strong at No. 18 in the tournament rankings.

Northern Colorado's line-up features three ranked wrestlers. Junior Dominick Serrano is 14-2 and ranked No. 14 at 133. Senior Andrew Alirez is now 9-0 after a Major Decision win at South Dakota State and No. 2 at 141. Redshirt Junior Vincent Zerban is 12-3 and ranked No. 18 at 157.

Utah Valley is coming off a split week losing to No. 23 West Virginia on Thursday and beat Air Force on Friday. The Wolverines line-up features two ranked wrestlers. Haiden Drury is No. 21 at 141. Terrell Barraclough is No. 3 at 165. Northern Colorado leads the all-time series with Utah Valley 14-10. Northern Colorado won the last meeting, 22-15 in Bank of Colorado Arena last year on Feb. 10. The Wolverines won the last meeting in Orem, 22-20 on Feb. 10, 2023.
