Bears Place Eight on 2025 All-NFFCC Teams

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado football earned statewide recognition from the National Football Foundation – Colorado Chapter (NFFCC) on Thursday, placing eight student-athletes on the organization's 2025 All-NFFCC First and Second Teams.
Wide receiver Carver Cheeks headlined the Bears' honors with a First Team Offense selection, while the defensive back duo of Cam Chapa and Darrell Bryant Jr. both earned First Team Defense recognition.
Northern Colorado added five more honorees on the All-NFFCC Second Team, highlighted by Brayden Munroe, Levi Johnson, and Jack Ziebell on offense, along with Ezra Ekuban and Hudson Voggesser on defense.
Northern Colorado was one of eight programs represented on the 2025 All-NFFCC teams, accounting for eight of the 54 total student-athletes selected across the first and second teams. Air Force and Western Colorado each placed six honorees, followed by Colorado School of Mines and Colorado State with five apiece, Colorado with four selections, and Colorado Mesa and Fort Lewis with two each.
The All-NFFCC teams were chosen by the Colorado Chapter's board of directors in collaboration with College Sports Communicators and drew from 10 Colorado colleges and universities that sponsor football. Among this year's selections, 16 honorees competed at the high school level within the state of Colorado.
