Bears Sign Kylie Cackovic to The Program

GREELEY, Colo.- Northern Colorado volleyball is excited to announce a new signee to the program. Head Coach Lyndsey Oates and the coaching staff welcome a talented Outside Hitter to the team.
MEET THE SIGNEE
Kylie Cackovic – Outside Hitter – Raleigh, N.C | North Carolina at Asheville
Kylie Cackovic is the daughter of Melissa and Kevin Cackovic. Her mother played volleyball at San José State, while her father played basketball at Carnegie Mellon University. She has one sibling, her brother Jake Cackovic.
Cackovic brings significant experience after playing a key role at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She earned Big South All-Conference honors in both 2024 and 2025. One of her most memorable athletic moments was competing in the Big South Conference Tournament Championship this past season.
She chose UNC for the opportunity to be part of a strong, competitive program while playing at a high level, as well as for its excellent academic environment that aligns with her future goals. Kylie plans to pursue a master's degree in Rehabilitation Psychology.
Outside of volleyball, Kylie enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and engaging in creative activities.
"Kylie is a great fit for our program on and off the court. She adds experience in a similar conference where she has had success. We are thrilled to have her in our gym this spring" said Head Coach, Lyndsey Oates.
