GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado Volleyball (9-12, 6-3 Big Sky) continues Big Sky Conference play this week with two pivotal home match ups. The Bears will face Montana State (11-9, 6-3 Big Sky) on Thursday, October 30, followed by Montana (14-6, 6-3 Big Sky) on Saturday, November 1, at the Bank of Colorado Arena. UNC will look to capitalize on its home court advantage and secure two key conference victories.
Before those match ups, the Bears will open a three-game home stand with a challenging non-conference contest against No. 23 Colorado (18-3, 9-1 Big 12) tonight, Tuesday, October 28, at 6 p.m. MT. The two teams last met last season, when the Bears earned a thrilling five-set win over the Buffaloes at the CU Events Center.
Northern Colorado is looking to rebound after a straight-set road loss to Northern Arizona. In that match, Brynn Reines and Isabel Bennett each tallied nine kills, while Nerea Alvares Jorge led the offense with 33 assists. Defensively, Bella LePore anchored the back row with 16 digs.
The Bears aim to bounce back strong and earn three home wins this week to strengthen both their overall and conference records.
