Shehee Named Big Sky Women’s Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado's Timbre Shehee has been named the Big Sky Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Thursday.
Shehee earned the honor after a stellar performance at the Golf Iconic Classic, hosted by New Mexico State in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Shehee finished the tournament with an 8-under-par, placing her in second of 104 competitors.
She opened the tournament with a steady round, caught fire in the middle stretch, and finished the three-round event with an even-par round. Her sharp play and poise against a deep field helped lead the Bears to another strong team finish early in the fall season.
"We are thrilled to see Timbre get Big Sky Golfer of the Week. Timbre has been playing well all year with 4 top 10 finishes including 2 runners up and only 1 round over par. She had a great shot to win this tournament playing with confidence and poise down the stretch leading our team both on the course and off," said Associate Head Coach Tina Barrett, "Congratulations to Timbre and we look forward to more of her success to end the fall season and into the spring. "
A senior from Mead, Colorado, Shehee has been a cornerstone of the Northern Colorado women's golf program since her freshman season.
