Bears Seeded Fourth at NWCA Championhips

Fresh off the Southern Scuffle, Northern Colorado returns to action at the 2025 National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Multi-Division Dual Meet Championships, hosted by Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Friday and Saturday.
UNC enters as the No. 4 seed and faces CSU Bakersfield at 10 a.m. CT/9 a.m. MT Friday, with the winning side taking on either No. 5 Wyoming or Drexel in the quarterfinals. The losing sides face off in the consolation round.
Northern Iowa secured the top seed, while South Dakota State and Little Rock entered as the number two and three, respectively. George Mason, Penn and Ohio round out the top eight teams in the 14-team field.
Northern Iowa and Sacred Heart meet in the first round, with the winner receiving a bye to the semifinals. SIUE takes on No. 3 Little Rock for the right to face the winner of No. 6 George Mason and Cal Poly in the quarterfinals. Central Michigan and No. 2 South Dakota State battle in the opening round, with the victor meeting the Penn/Ohio winner in the quarterfinals.
