Jerome Campbell Named Luna’s Taco Student Athlete of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Junior sprinter Jerome Campbell has been named Luna's Taco Student-Athlete of the Week by the University of Northern Colorado Athletics Department for his exceptional performance at the 2025 Graduate Classic Invitational, hosted by Nebraska.
A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Campbell won the 60m hurdles in 7.69 seconds, a time that ranks ninth in the nation and first in the Big Sky Conference. His victory came against strong competition from top programs, including Oregon and Nebraska.
Campbell also delivered an impressive showing in the 60m dash, clocking a Big Sky-leading time of 6.75 seconds.
"Jerome's performance last week was truly inspiring," said Director of Track and Field Wayne Angel. "As a two-time All-American, he continues to push himself to new heights, embodying the spirit of excellence that Northern Colorado strives for."
