UNC Places Fourth at NWCA Duals

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Northern Colorado placed fourth at the National Wrestling Coaches Association National Duals Championship, hosted by Northern Iowa at the UNI Dome Saturday.

Stevo Poulin finished the tournament with a perfect 4-0 mark, with two victories Saturday. He defeated No. 23 Trever Anderson in the semifinals before he recorded a 19-3 technical fall in the third-place match.

Vincent Zerban, Clayton Ulrey and Aydin Rix-McElhinney registered triumphs against Little Rock.

Zerban knocked off No. 19 Matt Bianchi 9-8, while Ulrey defeated No. 20 Joey Bianchi 10-4. Rix-McElhinney shutout No. 30 Tyler Brennan 2-0.
