South Dakota grabbed a 2-0 lead over the Portland State Vikings Sunday at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex in Vermillion S.D.
Portland State's Abi Hoffman scored a pair of goals in the first half of the second period to tie the match at two.
The Vikings tallied the game-winner in the 78th minute.

TOOTING HER HORN

Lexi Tuite returns for her sophomore season after leading the Bears in goals, points, shot attempts and shots on goal.
Tuite notched the first hat trick during UNC's NCAA Division I era, which began in 2006.
She tallied six goals and 13 points in her rookie campaign.
Tuite registered the first goal of her collegiate career at Air Force Aug. 27, 2023.
