Shehee Named BSC Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah – Timbre Shehee earned the first Big Sky Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honor of the season, league officials announced Wednesday.
"I am proud of Timbre," Clayton Sikorski, director of golf, said. "She has put in a lot of work this summer and fall and I'm glad she saw a great result out of the gate. She will continue to get better and be a leader for us on and off the course."
Shehee a junior from Mead, Colorado, led the Bears with a 6-over par and finished in a two-way tie for 13th in the 84-player field.
She moved up six spots on the leaderboard with a 1-under par over the final 18 holes.
Kansas State hosted the Powercat Invitational at the Colbert Hills Golf Club Monday and Tuesday.

Shehee and her teammates return to competition Sept. 23-25 for the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in Vail, Colorado, on the course at Red Sky Golf Club.
