FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado's Timbre Shehee has been named Co-Women's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Thursday.
This marks Shehee's second honor of the 2025-26 season, following an impressive performance at the Bentwater Women's Collegiate hosted by Kennesaw State.
Shehee set the pace for Northern Colorado with a standout final-round 69 (-3), the team's lowest score of the day, vaulting her up the leader board into a tie for second place. She carded a 33 on the front nine and followed it with a steady 36 on the back, using consistent, under-par play to move into contention. Her performance helped lead the Bears to a sixth-place finish in a highly competitive field.
"Excited and proud of Timbre's result last week. The first couple of rounds she played great but didn't really get much out of it. She played well that last round, making a ton of birdies, and I'm just super proud of her resilience and patience" said Associate Head Coach, Tina Barrett.
A senior from Mead, Colorado, Shehee has been a major contributor to the UNC golf program. Known for her consistency, poise under pressure, and ability to post low scores, she remains a key piece of the lineup and one of the conference's top performers.
