GREELEY, Colo. – Season Tickets for the 2024-25 Northern Colorado season are on sale for one of the most anticipated seasons in the 100 years of wrestling at UNC. General Admission tickets are just $60, the same price as last season, through June 14.
"We are really excited about this team and its potential for next year," head coach Troy Nickerson said. "We have a great home slate of duals and need the support of the community here at home."
The team has five exciting home dates on the schedule, with the possibility of adding a sixth. If you purchase General Admission tickets before June 14 at 1 p.m., you get the sixth ticket free of charge.
"Next season will be the 100th year of UNC wrestling and it is sure to be a great one," Nickerson said. "Let's fill The Bank!"
Andrew Alirez, the 2023 NCAA National Champion at 141 pounds is staying in Greeley, rejoining his teammates and two-time national qualifiers Stevo Poulin (125 pounds) and Vincent Zerban (157 pounds). Dominick Serrano, a Windsor, Colorado native and 2024 national qualifier remains with the team making for a formidable quartet.
The excitement kicks off with Big 12 foe Missouri inside the Bank of Colorado Arena Nov. 2. The Tigers finished 11th in the team standings at the 2024 NCAA Championships, with three All-Americans.
UNC hosts its annual quad duals Dec. 21, before welcoming three Big 12 opponents into The Bank in 2025. North Dakota State travels to Greeley Jan. 17 and the Bears host Cal Baptist Jan. 24, before hitting the road for four matches. They close out the regular season at home against Air Force Feb. 23.
The Bears also have depth from a young team in 2023-24 and a talented recruiting class expected to press for mat time at several weight classes.
