Monda Matches Career-High with Three Hits

GREELEY, Colo. – Carter Monda recorded a three-hit game in Northern Colorado's setback against Oral Roberts at JL Johnson Stadium Friday.
Monda doubled home the first run of the game for UNC in the fifth, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
Oral Roberts (21-27-1,10-13-1) extended its lead to four, with three runs in the bottom half of the frame. The Golden Eagles carried a 9-1 lead into the final frame.
Monda matched his career-high in hits with an RBI single in the last frame, tallying the second run for the Bears. He registered his seventh multi-hit game of the season and his second with three knocks.
Carson Gross inked two hits in four at-bats, the ninth game with more than one hit in a contest this season.
Kai Wagner, Garrett Fisher and Austin Bunn accounted for one knock-a-piece. Bunn and Jake King scored the Bears' runs.
