Craig Kenny Stays Hot at the Plate

Garrett Fisher and Craig Kenny registered a multi-hit game, while Zain Zinicola, Jackson Romero and Brandon Sanchez tallied a knock each.
Kenny extended his hitting streak to five games, with multiple hits in four during the span, including the last three contests against the Aggies.
With two outs and no one on in the Bears' first Caden Wagner reached on a miscue by the home side. He cruised home on a double from Fisher and opened the scoring. Zinicola doubled the advantage with a single to right.
New Mexico State jumped out to a 9-2 advantage with four in the third and five in the fourth.
Sanchez's double in the sixth bounded over the fence on a hop forcing Romero – who led off with a single – to stop at third. A groundout and an infield single by Fisher plated the pair and cut the deficit to 9-4.
The Aggies responded with two in the sixth and three in the seventh to close out the matinee affair.
