Bears Open Spring Campaign in Mexico

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado returns to competition for the first time in three and a half months, when the Bears tee off at the Los Vaqueros Intercollegiate – hosted by UTRGV – Monday at Playa Paraiso Golf Club in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
Competing for the Bears: Alessio Battista, Pietro Boeris, Peter Grossenbacher, Gage Messingham, TJ Shehee and Antti Vahvaselka.
Along with UNC, the nine-team field includes Abilene Christian, Lamar, UAB, UTA, UTEP, UTRGV, VCU and Wichita State.
Format: Each team plays one round per day. Monday and Tuesday consist of individual tee times, beginning at 6 a.m. MT, with Wednesday's final round starting with a shotgun start at 6:30 a.m. MT. Each five-member team will count the top four scores each round.
