GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado went 3-0 at the UNC quad duals, with wins over Northeastern Junior College, Colby Community College and Fort Hays Tech Northwest Saturday at Bank of Colorado Arena.

The Bears opened with a 44-11 victory over Northeastern. Bryson Valdez, Bryce Garcia, Andrew Donahue and Remington Peterson recorded a pinfall. Hayden Brady, Cameron Lucero, Daishun Powe and AJ Heeg tallied bonus points with technical falls.

Valdez recorded his second pin of the day and helped the Bears to a 50-6 triumph over Northern Colorado. Joel Aguilar-Guerrero, Ivan Morris, Phillips and Tyler Perry added pinfalls, while Brady and Powe notched tech falls.

UNC cruised to a 42-5 victory over Fort Hays Tech Northwest in the final dual of the event. The Bears moved out to a 21-0 advantage with a pair of forfeits and three decisions. Clayton Ulrey tacked on a technical fall before the visitors cracked the scoreboard. They closed with a major decision by Heeg and falls from Donahue and Peterson.
