2024-25: During Joel’s freshman season, he went 3-4 and started his collegiate career at the Mines Rookie Open where he went 1-2.
Mines Rookie Open (11/03): Received a bye first round, went on to go 1-2 with a 11-7 decision win over Cole O’Brien. Colby Community College (12/21): Aguilar-Guerrero won by pin over Xzavier Martinez. Cowboy Shoot Out (02/23): Went 1-2 and had a major decision win.
HIGH SCHOOL / PERSONAL
During Joel’s high school years, he was a two-time Texas State Medalist… Placing fifth his junior year and sixth his senior year… Joel was a member of the National Honor Society.
In his free time, Joel enjoys cooking… One of his main goals at UNC is to All-American… He chose UNC because they matched his goals, and he trusted the team.
Son of Maritza and Isaiah Guerrero… Brother of Pablo.
