Marshall Collects First Big Sky Weekly Honor

FARMINGTON, Utah – For the first time in his career, sophomore Digby Marshall has been selected Big Sky Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday afternoon. Marshall set his personal best in the long jump at the UCCS Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi (Dec. 13) in Colorado Springs, Colo.
At the UCCS Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi, Marshall recorded a leap of 22' 8.5" (6.92m), placing him first in the Big Sky rankings.
"I am extremely excited for Digby's future," Assistant Coach Qwazon Al Khaliq said. "He has committed himself to being one of our best athletes, and his work is beginning to yield results."
The Denver native is the first Bear to collect a Big Sky Athlete of the Week honor this season.
