SETTING THE SCENE

Northern Colorado travels to Grand Forks to face the North Dakota for the 12th time in program history at Bronson Field Thursday.
The Bears defeated North Dakota 4-0 in Greeley in 2022.
UNC owns a 4-0-1 record on the road against the Fighting Hawks.

LAST TIME OUT

Northern Colorado suffered a 2-0 setback against the Wyoming Cowgirls at Madrid Sports Complex in Laramie, Wyoming Sunday.
Lexi Tuite and Anneliese Wong each recorded two shots for UNC.
Brooke Holmberg, Mia Norman and Lauren Woodhull each registered a shot on goal.
The Bears tallied only nine shots in the match, including three shots on goal.
Wyoming had 15 shots and 20 fouls in the match.
Kaya Lindberg totaled seven saves in the match.

ON THIS DATE

UNC owns a 3-1-0 mark on Sept. 7th in program history.
The last time the Bears played on this date, they defeated Southwest Missouri State 1-0 at Jackson Stadium in 2014.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING HAWKS

Head Coach Chris Logan is in his seventh season as head coach of the Fighting Hawks. He previously served as a head coach at Northern Iowa.
North Dakota opened the 2023 campaign with a 3-2-1 record after defeating Southern Indiana in their last match.
The Fighting Hawks have three shutouts this season coming against MSU Moorhead, Illinois State and Southern Indiana.
North Dakota outshot its opponents in the first six contests 79-71, including 35-34 in shots on goal.
The Fighting Hawks registered more goals through the first six matches than their opponents, 10-5.
