Katie Burton is in her seventh season as head coach of Portland State.
She previously served as an assistant coach at San Francisco and UNLV.
Portland State opened the 2023 campaign with a 3-5-0 record after defeating Cal State Northridge 3-2 in its last match.
The Vikings are 3-2 in their last five matches with their only losses coming to Iowa State and Utah Tech.
Portland State registered more saves than its opponents in the first seven contests 41-35.
