Colorado Springs, Colo. – University of Northern Colorado suffered a 2-1 defeat against Air Force at Cadet Soccer Stadium Sunday.
Northern Colorado dropped to 0-4-0 on the campaign, while the Falcons improved to 2-1-0.
Lexi Tuite's first goal of her collegiate career staked the Bears to a 1-0 advantage 21 minutes into the tilt.
The teams went to the locker room knotted at 1-1 after the Falcons notched the equalizer with under five minutes remaining in the opening half.
In the 69th minute, Air Force converted on a 2-v-1 situation, tallying the eventual game winner.
