Bears Suffer Setback at Denver

Denver, Colo. – University of Northern Colorado suffered a 3-1 setback against Denver at University of Denver Soccer Stadium Thursday.
Northern Colorado dropped to 0-5-0 on the campaign, while the Pioneers improved to 1-0-4.
The teams went to the locker room with Denver leading 2-1 after Lexi Tuite's lone goal for the bears came from a penalty kick in the 45th minute.
In the 74th minute, Denver tacked on an insurance goal. The Pioneers held on in the last 16 minutes to secure the victory.
